The Shams Tabrizi Research Program is being implemented by the Center for International Scientific Studies and Collaboration of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, based on a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Science and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK).

The program supports joint research projects conducted by Iranian and Turkish researchers in various fields, including humanities, arts and architecture, engineering, basic sciences, and medical sciences. It has been in operation since 2022, and so far, 15 joint projects have received support under this program.
