The Center was initially established in April 1999 under the name International Scientific Conferences Center<\/em> with the primary objective of fostering global collaborations in science and technology and supporting the organization of international scientific conferences.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Over time, and in response to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology\u2019s need to structure support for research programs and to serve as a coordinating body for membership in certain international organizations and associations\u2014such as the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), the Third World Network of Scientific Organizations (TWNSO), and The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS)\u2014the nature of the Center\u2019s activities was revised through the development of a new statute.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

By July 2001, the ISMO underwent an official name change to the Center for International Scientific Studies and Collaboration (CISSC) broadening its range of activities to identify, develop, and oversee distinctive collaborative programs aimed at addressing the academic challenges faced by Iranian scholars in an increasingly interconnected world.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Since 2015, the Center has launched a program for evaluating the international identifiers of universities and higher education and research institutions in the country, with the aim of strengthening and enhancing Iran\u2019s global standing through the expansion of international scientific relations. This program is conducted annually, and during a formal ceremony, outstanding higher education institutions are recognized and honored.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Presently, the CISSC, operating within the revised framework of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT), is dedicated to forging tailored global partnerships to enrich the capabilities of Iranian academics through its diverse array of sponsored activities and events. Serving as a facilitator and instigator, the CISSC plays a pivotal role in driving substantial initiatives geared towards harnessing the manifold advantages of international science and technology (S&T) collaborations.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
